So it’s THAT time of year again, far more sinister than Halloween, lonelier than Valentine’s Day, and even more revealing than New Year’s.

Yes, it’s time for NaNoWriMo.

This challenge looms large in front of me each November—compose a fifty-thousand word work of passable fiction in 30 days or less.

But nothing’s ever quite right to write, right?  Last year it was work. The year before, school. This year, lack of work, lack of good ideas, computer chair’s not comfortable enough, keyboard annoyingly misses every spaceandseemingly eveyotherleter…..

But really, what it is boils down to a lack of consistency.  To accept is easy, Nichiren Daishonin writes, but to continue is difficult.

Well, NaNo (year 5)… I’m all yours.  To run for profit or for ruin.  Again.
